Today is my 28th birthday, and what a nice gift.......

Jubileum mini......

Zoals ik in mijn vorige blog post al schreef heb ik samen met Sabine een mini album gemaakt voor onze jubilerende collega :)
Ze is 12,5 jaar werkzaam als apothekersassistente bij ons in Eindhoven en dat moet gevierd worden natuurlijk, we zijn tapas gaan eten bij de Koffer in Mierlo, hmmmm!
Ze wilde als cadeautje graag een scrap album met foto`s van deze dag/avond, en dat kan natuurlijk geregeld worden!


As I wrote in my previous blog post, Sabine and I made a mini album to celebrate our colleague 12,5 years anniversary at the Pharmacy.
We have eaten tapas in `de Koffer`,and it was delicious!! She wanted as a present a scrap album with pics of her day, which of course can be arranged!

wow, long time ago..........

Het is echt alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik wat van me heb laten horen, maar dat betekent natuurlijk niet dat ik stil heb gezeten ;)
Afgelopen maand heb ik meegedaan met de dare Paars-Grijs bij DTUC (Dare To Use Color), dat houdt in dat je alleen deze kleuren mag gebruiken op je LO.
Ik kan je verklappen dat dit een flinke uitdaging is, zeker als je bijzonder weinig scrapspulletjes van deze kleuren in huis hebt!


It's really been a while since you`ve heard from me, so i`ll make that up to you soon ;)
Last month I participated in the Purple-Gray challenge at DTUC (Dare To Use Color), which means that you have to use these two colors only!
It`s really a tough challenge, I hardly had these colors in my scrap stock!

Een collega van me was afgelopen week 12,5 jaar werkzaam bij de apotheek en dat moest natuurlijk gevierd worden :)
Als cadeau wilde ze graag de foto`s gescrapt in een mini album en daar heb ik vandaag samen met Sabine (collega van de feestcommissie) aan gewerkt!
En wat heeft Sabine een scrap talent zeg, ze vond het geloof ik nog leuk ook (nieuwe hobby?).
De foto`s van het mini-album zal ik later deze week plaatsen!

Today I scrapped the whole day, togheter with a colleague of mine!
She came over to my place to scrap a mini album for a colleague of us, she worked for 12,5 years at the pharmacy last week!
To celebrate we had a little party for her and ofcourse we had to scrap a mini-album for her!
I`ll post the pics of the mini later this week!

Dit is de titel van mijn nieuwste LO, maanden geleden ben ik met deze pagina begonnen en telkens dacht ik dat ik hem niet ging afmaken.
Maar dat heb ik verkeerd gedacht want zie hier het resultaat ;)

This is the title of my newest LO, months ago I started this page and I always thought that I would not finish it.
But my thoughts where wrong, because this is the result;)

Over the top........

Voordat ik scrapbooking ontdekte heb ik verschillende creatieve hobby`s gehad, zoals Pergamano, 3d kaarten maken, vinger punniken, daar kon ik helemaal in opgaan, ik maakte vele meters, om vervolgens op het schoolplein een heel lint van punnik werk neer te leggen en trots dat ik was.
Ook ben ik een tijdje in de weer geweest met tegels van elk formaat- mozaieken- maar sinds ik scrapbooking hebt ontdekt heb ik geen tegeltje meer aangeraakt!
Nooit gedacht dat ik creatief was ,maar nu ik er zo op terug kijk heeft het altijd al in me gezeten!
Deze foto heb ik zojuist opgezocht op internet, het was even zoeken en de kwaliteit is niet super maar zie hier een van mijn mozaieken werkstukjes.
Gemaakt voor mijn schoonmoeder die hem nog altijd een mooi plekje geeft in haar keuken!

Before I found out about scrapbooking I had several creative hobby`s; Pergamano, 3d cards, finger punniken (don`t know the English word for this) and mosaic. I loved to play with all the tiles, but since I've discovered scrapbooking I never touched a mosaic tile again. After some search on the internet I found this pic so you can see some of my mosaic work :) Made for my 'mother in law' who still gives it a nice spot in her kitchen!

Om je te feliciteren heb ik dit kaartje voor je gemaakt en zo doe ik meteen mee aan Get Sketchy (mijn moeder zit in het DT).
Dit is mijn eerste scrapkaartje aan de hand van een schets, het was even moeilijk om te beginnen maar toen ik er eenmaal mee bezig was vond ik het nog leuk worden ook.
Wie weet volgen er nog meer scrapkaartjes....

To celebrate her birthday I made this card and I play along with Get Sketchy (my mom is in their DT).
This is my first scrapcard made from a sketch, I had a hard start but in the end I liked it.
Who knows, maybe I will be making more scrapcards...

It`s masking time :)

The new prompt over at the creative type is masking-and I love to try out new techniques- so I joined the typists with my spray ink. (Which I love more and more by the way).
I ruined my first page, but I gave it a second try and I love the way my page turned out.
So I`m defenitily going to mask my pages more often, yay for new scrapbooking techniques :)
