een week in mijn leven...

Zoals ik in mijn vorige blogpost al schreef ben ik begonnen aan -A week in the life- bedacht door Ali Edwards.
Vorige week zondag ben ik begonnen met het maken van de foto`s en vandaag heb ik ze verzonden om af te laten drukken, nu kan het scrappen beginnen.
Op de dagen dat ik moest werken vond ik het moeilijk om foto`s te maken, eigenlijk was er ook helemaal geen tijd voor.
Ondanks dat mijn SD kaartje in het midden van de week bijna sneuvelde is het me gelukt om elke dag foto`s te maken.
Het is erg leuk geweest om mijn week vast te leggen in foto`s, hier alvast een kleine impressie;





Deze award heb ik van Mirjam gekregen, en met deze award is het de bedoeling wat over mezelf te vertellen.

Ik ben geboren en opgegroeid in Zuid-limburg-ben sinds mijn 12e vegetarier- ik heb de drie jarige opleiding tot doktersassistente gevolgd en kwam er na een half jaar werken achter dat ik toch liever in een apotheek wilde werken als apothekersassistente -heb deze opleiding binnen 1 jaar afgerond in Rotterdam-7 jaar geleden gingen Ivo en ik samenwonen op kamers in Eindhoven-ben blij dat we nu ons eigen huisje hebben in Geldrop-ben veslaafd aan alles wat met fotografie en scrapbooking te maken heeft.

Deze award geef ik aan al mijn lieve blogvrienden door die hem graag op het blog willen zetten, jullie hebben hem allemaal verdiend!

a week in the life

My Scrapaholic blog is almost 2 years old and I`m always in doubt to choose in witch language I should write.
Today I made the decision to write my blogposts in Dutch, that`s easier for me and I hope to keep up my blog a bit better.

Het is alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik mijn laatste blogpost schreef, door het goede weer en de leuke uitjes die we de laatste tijd hebben gemaakt ben ik niet zo creatief geweest.

Zaterdag ben ik samen met Mam naar Heesch geweest, ze hebben mijn favoriete papierlijn weer in het assortiment (October Afternoon) en kon mijn hart weer eens flink ophalen.
Vorige blogpost schreef ik al dat ik zin had om mee te gaan doen met Ali Edwards a week in the life, nu met al dat mooie nieuwe papier in mijn bezit heb ik helemaal zin om eraan te beginnen.
Gisteren ben ik begonnen met fotograferen, ik maak foto`s die ik normaal gesproken nooit zou maken. Vanmorgen waren we even bij de Praxis...mensen die me foto`s hebben zien maken zullen ook gedacht hebben..hihi.

Deze foto heeft Ivo zojuist gemaakt, ik zit hier heerlijk in de tuin achter mijn laptop deze blogpost te schrijven..alweer een foto die ik (of eigenlijk Ivo) normaal niet zou hebben geschoten.

Hopelijk hebben jullie afgelopen weekend ook zo van het weer genoten, ik ben er echt van opgeknapt!

Finished my mini.........

Today I finished my mini album with my favorite spring pics of 09/10.
Since last months I`m totally into journals and mini`s, I just visited Petra`s blog and I saw this project from Ali Edwards....maybe I`m going to join.
I know it`s a lot of work but I think it`s so worth it.

I started a new online workshop (still addicted ;) I really adore her journal pages so I had to join in.
Made myself a journal from a big cardstock page, covered the front and back with some vintage music papers and a card (which I received by air mail) and started the first prompt.

Here are my first two pages, I really don`t like what I created out of it, but I share as well.

Sisters day

Last weekend we had Queens-day, National scrapbooking day and ....Sisters day!
Our sisters day is not an official day ofcourse but I celebrated sisterhood with my sweet sisters!
First we had a nice drink and a yummie pastry, the sun was shining and we had the best time making pics together..(new scrapmaterial ;)
After that we did some grocery shopping and started to make tapas....in the evening we invited our boyfriends and parents and we had a great meal together.
We had the best day and decided we have to make this day a new tradition!

This is not our best photo... but still my favorite.
It shows how much fun we had last saturday!

In the past weeks Nicole and I worked on a scrapbook for friends of us who just married, we scrapped the pics of their bachelor party`s and wedding (Nicole never scrapbooked before but I think she hooked now too...hihi;)

Look at this page made by Nicole..completely made out of felt and they are looking exactly like the newly weds on their bachelor party! Just love it!

I love handmade

This is the title of my new journal page, I`m still searching for my own style.
I hope to find it along the way, I know it's something that takes practice and time.

Last post I told you about our great weekend and now I have a photo to share!
We had a great time in Oisterwijk on this Quattro-cycle, a whole new experience for us....a really fun one!

Challenge time...

It`s a long time ago since I played along at a challenge blog...but today I was really in for it and had so much fun creating this LO for Sketchy Thursdays and Who`s That Girl !
This is this first time I made a LO by a sketch, and guess what..I loved it :)
I took my fav papers, pics and washi tape and just started this LO, and I think it came out as one of my fav LO`s!


We had the best weather over here in Holland last weekend and we really enjoyed our free time, more about this in my next post (then I have some pics to share :)

work in progress

It`s monday again, the weekend is over already! It just flew by, but I had the best time!
Some friends came to visit us on saturday and I went scrapshopping at Heesch (love to go there).
I bought myself lovely scrapsupplies; a cool Martha Sterwart punch ( a little expensive but after a really busy week at work I tought that I really deserved to buy it myself :), the new paperline 'Adèle' from Rouge de Garance (so sweet) and some 'Dear Lizzy' papers from American crafts.

Yesterday I had some 'Me-time' and played with the 'Dear Lizzy' papers, it`s not finished yet but I wanted to show you my work in progress;

I just love these papers, the colors and embellies.

When this album is finished I come back with more pics, I`m not really sure what to with the cardboard pages (any ideas?).
